I have come with Windows Magic. Now a days you may see these line on Facebook, blogs and mails that "Things that Microsoft Could not Explain". People directly claim on Microsoft for any non technical problem with Windows. I will explain everything in details. so Let` s start.

First I will tell you what are Magic or Unknown facts in Windows then i will explain the facts.


Magic 1:
Nobody can create a Folder anywhere in Computer named "CON" .


Magic 2:
do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!
Magic 3:
Open Microsoft Word and type "=rand (200, 99)" And then press ENTER And see the magic.


Are you wondering. wait..first, read below the facts of these unknown facts.
Fact of Magic 1:
It is true, you can`t create Folder named as CON by simple go to option and create new folder and rename to CON. It is because "CON" is a reserved name that dates back to the days of MS-DOS and is short for "CONsole".
There are also other reserved file name like COM1, COM2 which indicate ports and LPT1, LPT2 indicates printer ports. and PRN, AUX, NUL.
How to Create Folder Named "CON"

• open Command Prompt (Windows Key +R and type cmd)
• type cd\ and press enter.
• type mkdir c:\con\ and press enter.

Now go to your C: directory, you will see a folder named con.

Note: By this method, you can delete this folder easily.

Fact of Magic 2:

This magic depend upon Version of your Notepad. Actually this is a bug in older versions of Notepad but now it has been removed. The phrase "Bush hid the facts " is combination of 4 3 4 5. It generates some chines words. This is an UNICODE error of Notepad However, some character strings that fit the "4,3,3,5" pattern do not generate the error. For example, the phrase "Bush hid the truth" is displayed normally. However, conspiracy theorists should not take this as aiding their argument. "Fred led the brats", "brad ate the trees" and other strings also escape the error. To more about this refer Wikipedia. In latest notepad this bug has been removed.

Fact of Magic 3:

=rand(200,99) returns bunch of statement but why, because rand() function is used to generates automatically text and paragraphs. Now open that words document and find this phrase " The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" by using CTRL+F. This phrase "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" contains all alphabets of English so it is used to test the font and font size in word document.
